Ukrzaliznytsia changed train routes in the Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions
In the Zaporizhzhia region, monitoring services are recording the activity of enemy drones near the company's infrastructure. As a result, train movement on the route Zaporizhzhia – Dnipro and back is conducted with bus transfers until 09:00 on February 1. According to the carrier, over 2,200 passengers were transported in this manner in the last day. Information about further movement will be updated.
In Sumy region, trains continue to operate, but in case of immediate threat, they may make forced stops near shelters. Control over movement has been strengthened in this direction.
Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia had temporarily restricted train movement between Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia due to attacks on railway infrastructure and the detection of enemy drones near the routes. The company emphasizes that decisions on changes are made solely for the safety of passengers.
