Ukrainian Railways Adjusts Schedules Amid Shelling, Warns of Delays

Укрзалізниця коригує розклад руху потягів через обстріли, попереджає про можливі затримки вчасності.

Train Schedules Altered Due to Shelling

Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) has announced schedule changes for its trains following Russian shelling attacks. Delays of up to one hour are possible. After a massive bombardment, railway workers are revising train timetables, and passengers are urged to follow the instructions of train crews and station staff.

Regional Impact

Targeted schedule adjustments are possible for routes in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Regional trains continue to run to and from Konotop, while commuter trains are operating to and from the Krolewets station. In the Chernihiv region, service on the Snovsk-Bakhmach route and the return direction has been temporarily suspended.

Furthermore, heightened security monitoring remains in effect in the Zaporizhzhia region. Depending on the circumstances, trains may be allowed to pass, or bus transfers may be arranged. These measures are necessary to ensure passenger safety amid ongoing threats.

These rail disruptions reflect the complex security situation in Ukraine caused by Russian attacks. The national railway operator is forced to adapt to new conditions to guarantee passenger safety, which can affect travel schedules. This is part of the wider impact of the war on Ukraine's critical infrastructure. During wartime, adhering to the guidance of specialists is crucial for minimizing risks and ensuring safe travel.
