Appeal from Dynamo Kyiv Ultras to the People of Belarus
In a joint effort with Belarusian fans and the Ukrainian national team supporters' group United Ukraine, Dynamo Kyiv ultras have issued a direct appeal to the Belarusian people. This initiative also involved collaboration with Dynamo Minsk fans, with whom they created a mural carrying a powerful message.
The ultras call on Belarusians to prevent their country from being drawn into the war against Ukraine, stating that 'there is nothing for us to fight over.' They emphasize that 'Russia's leadership is actively trying to drag Belarus into the war against Ukraine.' Addressing ordinary Belarusians, they urge: 'do not repeat the mistakes of the Russians' and resist being pulled into a conflict with Ukrainians, stressing that 'Belarusians and Ukrainians are not enemies.'
Solidarity Between Nations
Earlier, during a friendly match against Denmark, Ukrainian and Belarusian supporters also staged a joint demonstration, reflecting a shared desire for unity and mutual support in difficult times. The Dynamo Kyiv ultras' appeal includes the words:
“Zhyve Belarus! Slava Ukraini!”, underscoring solidarity between the two peoples.
This action highlights the growing support and solidarity between Ukrainian and Belarusian fans amid the ongoing regional conflict.
