Negotiations on Peace Agreement

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov had a conversation with American officials to discuss a peace agreement. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the conversation with the representatives of the USA lasted about an hour. Special representatives of US President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, participated in the negotiations. The readiness of some documents that may facilitate the achievement of a peaceful resolution in Ukraine was noted.

Possible Changes to the Peace Plan

According to information, the resolution of Russia's war against Ukraine may occur within the next 90 days. At the same time, the Russian Federation will demand changes to the peace plan, which consists of 20 points. If Russia refuses the proposed peace plan, the United States of America may be forced to strengthen military support for Ukraine.

President Zelensky emphasized that the Ukrainian team, together with American partners, understands how to ensure the necessary conditions for concluding a peace agreement. He also expressed gratitude to the USA, stating:
