Young Ukrainian badminton player Sofia Nikoleeva managed to win bronze at the tournament in Austria. She reached the semifinals, but unfortunately lost in a three-set match to her opponent from Croatia, yet still received a bronze medal.

Ukrainian athletes showed commendable results at the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing 10th in the overall medal standings. As a result of their performances, our team won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, making this performance one of the most successful in the history of Ukraine's participation in such competitions.
The most successful sport at the festival was judo, with six medals won.
