The Ukraine U-16 Youth Team played its first friendly match against local peers during a training camp in Italy. The game took place on November 4, reports UAF citing Glavcom.
Both teams were productive during the match. The Italian players opened the scoring within the first minute, but the Ukrainian goalkeeper made several crucial saves at the beginning of the match. However, attempting to intercept the ball, he conceded a goal that allowed the opponents to take the lead.
The Ukrainians quickly responded to the loss of the ball and scored their first goal in the 18th minute. The first half ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the Italians. In the second half, the Ukrainian goal conceded two more goals, resulting in a defeat of 6:2.
