At the World Championship in jiu-jitsu for youth, juniors, and cadets held in Thailand, the Ukrainian team demonstrated impressive results. As a result of the competitions, Ukrainian athletes won 20 awards, including 7 gold, 9 silver, and 4 bronze.
The youth team won 8 medals, the juniors had 11 awards, and the cadets had 1. Ukraine ranked 9th among adults in the overall team standings with participation from 66 countries, and also 8th place among youth, juniors, and cadets from 56 countries.
