GSC Game World та UNITED24 зібрали 103,700 доларів для розмінування території зони відчуження Чорнобиля.

UNITED24 Charity Campaign

In a collaborative effort, the UNITED24 platform and game developer GSC Game World successfully raised $103,710 to support demining operations in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. The fundraising campaign engaged the community of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 players by offering exclusive game-related rewards. Prizes included:

  • limited-edition merchandise featuring game branding;
  • artifacts crafted from fragments of a downed Russian helicopter;
  • unique collectible items.

Funds collected will be directed towards clearing landmines and unexploded ordnance from the Chernobyl area, which suffered extensive damage during the Russian military occupation. During their 35-day presence, over 300 vehicles were stolen or destroyed, alongside all computer equipment, highlighting the severe impact of the conflict on this region.

Demining Milestones and Ongoing Support Efforts

The campaign also marked the completion of mine clearance in the village of Hrakove, Kharkiv region, financed through UNITED24. Ukraine’s Minister of Economy and Environment, Oleksandr Kravchenko, participated in handing over certificates to the local community leader, underlining the project's significance for regional recovery.

While the prize draw on UNITED24 has concluded, the mission to aid Ukraine continues through the "Step by Step" initiative, which supports a variety of projects such as:

  • restoration of apartment buildings in Kyiv region;
  • fundraising for emergency medical vehicles;
  • the virtual project "Arina’s Story."

UNITED24 remains a vital platform drawing attention to Ukraine’s urgent needs amid ongoing conflict.
