Consolidated 2026 University Rankings for Ukraine
The 2026 consolidated rankings for higher education institutions in Kyiv and the surrounding region have been released. A total of 15 universities and colleges made the list, with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv securing the top position. In second place was Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, followed by Bogomolets National Medical University in third.
These annual rankings are widely consulted by prospective applicants and education analysts across the country. The data were published by the Osvita.ua educational portal, based on indicators from the Top-200 Ukraine project, Scopus citation data, and National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) scores for contract students.

- National University of Life and Environmental Sciences
- Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture
- Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman
- State University of Trade and Economics

- Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University
- Interregional Academy of Personnel Management
- Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design

- National University of Food Technologies
- Tavriya National University named after Vernadsky
