As a result of past attacks on the energy system in Ukraine, restrictions on electricity consumption have been introduced: capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers and hourly disconnections.
'Electricity consumption corresponds to seasonal indicators. Today, December 22, at 9:30 a.m., it was at the same level as at this time on the previous working day - December 19,' emphasizes 'Ukrenergo'.
Critical Infrastructure and People Affected
During two attacks on energy facilities on the night of December 22, a critical infrastructure facility in Odesa was damaged, causing part of the district to remain without power supply.
One resident of the area, a 30-year-old man, suffered moderate injuries from shrapnel and was taken to the hospital. Authorities are already working to restore power supply and eliminate the consequences of these attacks.
