Ukraine's Draft State Budget for 2027
The Ukrainian government has presented its draft budget for 2027 to the Verkhovna Rada, focusing on critical areas such as national defense, economic support, education, healthcare, and social welfare programs.

The defense allocation in the proposed budget amounts to 4.885 trillion hryvnias. Additionally, Ukraine anticipates receiving at least 1 trillion hryvnias in international material and technical aid.
Education is earmarked 328.5 billion hryvnias, while healthcare receives 292.5 billion hryvnias. Business support measures are allocated 96 billion hryvnias—nearly double the amount designated in 2023. The government also plans increased funding for social programs, veteran assistance, internally displaced persons, as well as housing and community development.

Koretsky emphasized, "We fully recognize that Ukraine’s own revenues can cover only a portion of its expenditures. Therefore, responsible and coordinated cooperation with international partners remains essential to securing the budget and meeting all military and social needs."
The main objective of this budget, according to Koretsky, is not only to maintain Ukraine’s defensive capabilities but also to enable effective counterattacks and provide necessary support to its citizens.
