The Cabinet of Ministers submitted a draft law to the Verkhovna Rada on the installation of individual heating points in buildings connected to centralized networks. This idea aims to improve the quality of heating supply and reduce costs for the companies that provide it.

What are individual heating points?

Individual heating points are equipment that allows regulating heating and hot water in a building. Their installation will allow for more efficient use of heat and provide residents with more comfortable conditions.

Plans for implementing individual heating points

The costs for these points will be included in the tariff for thermal energy, and their maintenance will be assigned to specialized organizations. It is also planned to introduce heating supply rules, procedures for installation and maintenance of points, and standard contracts.

As a reminder, due to the military actions, part of the heating systems in Kyiv has been damaged. This year, many residents may be left without centralized heating, which forces them to use alternative heating sources.

The problem of heating supply in residential complexes

The heat deficit in residential complexes forces residents to look for alternative heating sources, such as electric heaters. To address this issue, experts urge the government to provide compensation for electricity costs for people affected by the reduction in heating supply.
