The government has decided to extend the state fuel cashback program for another month — until May 31, 2026. At the same time, the participation conditions have changed, in particular, the maximum compensation amount has been reduced. This is reported by MinDigital.
Fuel cashback 2026 conditions: new restrictions for drivers
Previously, drivers could receive up to 1000 UAH in compensation each month, but starting May 1, the limit has been halved — to 500 UAH.
The reimbursement percentage remains unchanged:
15% — for diesel;
10% — for gasoline;
5% — for liquefied gas.
The program was decided to be extended due to high fuel prices, which remain amid instability in the global market.
National fuel cashback: how to receive and where it applies
To take advantage of the program, you need to join the «National Cashback» through a bank and the Diya application.
Connection algorithm:
open a special card at a partner bank;
choose cards for transactions and allow transaction transfers;
connect the service in «Diia».
Cashback is accrued for refueling at gas stations:
«Ukrnafta», OKKO, WOG, Amic Energy;
BVS, KLO, Motto, Chipo;
VostokGas, Autotrans, Mango;
Parallel, Rodnik, BRSM-Nafta.
Important: compensation does not apply when paying through mobile apps of gas stations.
Money is credited the next day after refueling, but the actual payment comes in the following month.
Cashback can only be spent on certain categories:
utilities and postal services;
groceries and medications;
charity and support for the Armed Forces;
books produced in Ukraine.
These funds cannot be transferred to other bank cards.
The reason for extending the program was the tense situation in the oil market after the escalation in the Middle East, which affected fuel prices globally and in Ukraine.
