The government of Ukraine is responding quickly to the shelling of the bridge connecting Odesa and Ismail. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenco stated that emergency measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences of this event.
According to her words, an alternative route for transporting residents of the Odesa region has already been organized, necessary services have been engaged, and cooperation with international partners has been supported. The authorities also guarantee humanitarian stability in the region.
“We are ensuring the normal functioning of banks and payment systems,” emphasized Yulia Svyrydenco.
In addition, the government is working to ease passenger transportation, including the improvement of bus and railway routes, as well as creating favorable conditions for business.
