The Cabinet of Ministers has improved the military registration process for men aged 25 and women with medical and pharmaceutical education. Now this will happen automatically, without the need for personal appearance at the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC).
Now men who have reached 25 years old no longer need to appear at the TRC to change their status from conscript to military liable. This will happen automatically. 'Within 30 days, the TRC and the Draft Service will independently make changes to the Unified State Register, change the status, and simultaneously assign such men an initial rank - 'soldier (seaman) in reserve', - the statement reads.
Educational institutions will also simplify the registration process for women with medical or pharmaceutical specialties by providing lists to the TRC within seven days after graduation. A decision has also been made to launch the 'Contract 18-24' program for drone operators who will serve in the Armed Forces, National Guard, and State Border Guard Service.
Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal emphasized that 'mobilization is proceeding absolutely normally by 90%', adding that it is the constitutional duty of every citizen.
The initiative to improve military registration procedures aims to simplify and automate the process, which can ease the burden not only on the country itself but also on conscripts and their families. It is also important to implement the program for drone operators, which will increase the effectiveness of military operations and provide the authorities with reliable access to aerial data.
