The government approved the European Guarantee for Children: what will change for Ukrainian families

Уряд запровадив нові умови підтримки українських родин з дітьми: які переваги це принесе?

The government has adopted the National Plan for the implementation of the European Guarantee for Children!

This is a framework document that brings together state, local and international efforts to ensure that no child is left without support. The European Guarantee for Children is an initiative of the European Union that provides every child access to basic services: education, healthcare, nutrition, housing and social support.

Ukraine has consciously chosen this path since the stage of candidate for EU membership and developed its National Plan - this is a step towards European standards of childhood and a state where children are at the center of decision-making. Denys Uliutin emphasized that dozens of state, local and community programs aimed at supporting children are already being implemented today.

“We are not starting from scratch. But now all these efforts will be combined into a single, coordinated framework. The National Plan allows us to move systematically, purposefully and in accordance with European standards,” the Minister noted.
