Extra Funding for the Capital
An additional UAH 2 billion has been allocated by the Ukrainian government to Kyiv for winter readiness. These funds are designated for safeguarding energy infrastructure and maintaining heat supply. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.
Earlier, UAH 966 million had already been set aside for the purchase of block-modular boiler houses. Svyrydenko emphasized that
“The government is fully supporting local authorities in implementing the capital’s Resilience Plan and ensuring the city is properly prepared for winter.”These steps are critical to guaranteeing a stable heating supply during the colder months.
