The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution on additional support for families living in combat zones. They will receive monthly assistance for electricity bills starting from October this year to ensure a continuous power supply. Payments will be automatically provided to families already receiving housing subsidies or benefits, within 100 kWh per person, but no more than 300 kWh per family.
Additional funds will also be directed to support the evacuation of people from dangerous regions. The program will be financed from the state budget and will continue as long as families remain in dangerous areas. Payments may be suspended only in the event of loss of entitlement to benefits or subsidies, destruction of housing, or change of territory status. Suspension of payments is possible for those who need to quickly undergo identification with the Pension Fund.
