The government is developing a support program for frontline regions
The government is preparing a special support program for regions that are on the front line, which includes clear measures of assistance for local residents, communities, and businesses. This was reported by the Ministry of Community Development and Territories.
Among the ideas being considered within the program are:
- Increasing salaries for workers in education, healthcare, and government institutions who live and work in these regions;
- Housing programs for local families: the government plans to assist with the down payment on a mortgage;
- Tax and staffing advantages for businesses: tax reductions and incentives to employ local residents in enterprises within these territories.
'The program will cover all aspects - from supporting individual families to attracting investors and guarantees for employers. This is about a constant presence in frontline territories, where the situation remains challenging, about protecting the economy, about preserving communities,' emphasized the Minister of Community Development and Territories, Oleksiy Kubelev.
The Ministry continues to work on support tools for frontline regions together with other agencies, local authorities, and international partners.
