The government has approved a new order for the health and recreation of children who need special support. The total amount of the program is 91.5 million UAH, based on the idea that 'money follows the child'.
Funding for services will be provided through the Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities, which will directly pay for health-preserving institutions. Among the recipients of services are orphans, children of war, children with disabilities living along the front line, and others.
The procedure for receiving services is simple: parents choose an institution from the list, obtain consent, submit the necessary documents, and sign a contract. The duration of health treatment is 21 days, and the duration of recreation is 14 days. Some categories will receive additional support of 6,500 UAH.
