Ukraine's Cabinet Approves Government Action Program

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved its Government Action Program and sent it to the Verkhovna Rada within the legally required timeframe. Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi said the document defines how the government will operate, what it aims to achieve, and which concrete tasks must be completed. He thanked the lawmakers who contributed to drafting and finalizing the text and expressed hope that Parliament would consider it promptly. The plan now moves to the Rada, where its approval will shape the government's path ahead.

Core Objectives of the Plan

The program's central goal is to hold the line and achieve victory in the war for Independence. Serhiy Koretskyi made the point directly:

"Our main task is to endure and triumph in the Independence War. This is our collective work and our shared responsibility for the result" — Serhiy Koretskyi.

He also noted that the program lays out a precise list of government actions, with clear personal accountability attached to each priority. Endorsing this agenda is an important milestone given Ukraine's ongoing military situation, as it establishes the priorities and tasks necessary for national security and stability. The speed with which the Verkhovna Rada takes up the document could significantly affect the government's next steps and its capacity to meet the challenges now facing the country.
