Recognition for the National Bank of Ukraine’s Legal Team
The Legal Department of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) was honored as the leading legal division among state regulatory bodies, according to the 'Best Legal Departments 2026' ranking published by the 'Legal Practice' newspaper. This accolade was announced on November 3, 2026, during the 14th Annual In-House Counsel Forum held in Kyiv. The award highlights the legal team’s effectiveness and its significant role in shaping the legal framework within Ukraine’s financial sector.
About the Evaluation Process
Since 2013, the 'Best Legal Departments' study, conducted by the 'Legal Practice' publishing house, has assessed legal units across Ukraine. The methodology combines both qualitative and quantitative performance metrics alongside votes from the legal community, providing a comprehensive appraisal of each team’s expertise and influence on key legal decisions.
