During martial law in Ukraine, territorial recruitment and social support centers gained the right to announce military liable individuals as wanted. The mobilization search is initiated to establish the whereabouts of individuals who evade military duty in wartime.
Lawyer Miroslava Mostova clarified the procedure for checking the search status and ways to cancel it. According to her, there are two main ways to find out if a person is wanted. The first option involves submitting an official request to the TCC and SP at the place of residence. The second method is more modern and convenient – using the mobile application 'Reserve+', which allows online checking of the status of a military liable person.
The procedure for canceling the 'Wanted' status requires a personal visit to the territorial recruitment center. The military liable individual must arrive at the TCC and SP, where they will receive a ruling on the administrative offense. The next step will be paying the fine provided for by current legislation, and updating the military registration data.
Only after completing all the mentioned procedures will the information be removed from official registers, and the search status will cease. The expert emphasizes the importance of following all the steps of the procedure to avoid further legal consequences. Previously, lawyers explained how many times TCC can impose fines for violations of military registration.
By using the aforementioned methods, a person can check their search status and appropriately resolve all issues regarding military duty during martial law in Ukraine.
