In Ukraine, the average size of the male genital organ during erection is 13–14 cm, and in a flaccid state — 8–10 cm. At the same time, the concept of "ideal" size is individual and depends on the partner. Urologist Anton Glebov spoke about this in an interview with Slava Dyomin.
Size of the genital organ: what indicators are considered normal
According to the doctor, the average indicators for Ukrainian men correspond to global trends. At the same time, he emphasizes that assessing "idealness" solely based on length is incorrect.

most men belong to the so-called "grower" type (about 70–80%), when the organ significantly increases during erection;

the other type is "shower", when the size changes very little.
The doctor explains that the difference between these types is related to the peculiarities of the nervous system and the body's response to stress and external factors.
Men's health: what affects size and function
The specialist emphasizes that size is largely determined by genetics — about 70%. Another 25% depends on hormonal balance, particularly the level of testosterone during puberty.
The condition of the organ can also be influenced by:

ambient temperature;

psychological state.
In a state of stress, the body activates protective mechanisms, which can lead to a temporary decrease in size. This is a normal physiological reaction, sometimes referred to in medicine as the "changing room syndrome".
The urologist also noted that excessive attention to size is often exaggerated. Other factors are more important, including mutual understanding with the partner and overall health. In most cases, even average indicators are sufficient for a fulfilling intimate life.
