Grain Production Forecasts for 2025/26 Marketing Year

Ukraine expects stable production and export of wheat in the 2025/26 marketing year - 22.0 million tons and 15.5 million tons respectively. These data are provided by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

At the same time, Ukrainian corn production is projected to increase by 1.5 million tons to 32.0 million tons, while exports will rise by 1.5 million tons to 25.5 million tons. Global wheat production is expected to decline by 1.6 million tons, while wheat consumption will decrease by 1.1 million tons.

Global corn production forecasts have risen by 24.9 million tons to a record 1,288.6 million tons. Significant production growth is expected in the USA, where it will rise to 425.3 million tons.

The USDA forecasts confirm Ukraine's stable position as one of the key global grain exporters. The maintenance of wheat export volumes and the growth of corn exports indicate the resilience of the Ukrainian agricultural sector even in wartime conditions.

Global corn stocks are expected to increase by 10.4 million tons to 282.6 million tons, which will help maintain stable prices for this crop.

Summary:
Ukraine anticipates stable production and export of wheat in the coming marketing year, while corn production is expected to increase. Global corn stocks will also rise, contributing to stability in prices for this crop.
