On June 27, an exhibition match is set for Athens, pitting former world champion Floyd Mayweather against Mike Zambidis. This fight serves as a warm-up for Mayweather ahead of his rematch with Manny Pacquiao, scheduled for September 19 in Las Vegas.
At 49 years old, Mayweather remains undefeated across all 50 of his professional bouts, with his last fight taking place in August 2017—a knockout victory over Conor McGregor for the WBC Money Belt. Zambidis, aged 45, brings extensive experience from 180 kickboxing matches, winning 158 of them.
The Mayweather fight will occur at the Telekom Center Athens arena, with ticket sales already underway.
