Ukraine continues to win the war despite Russian propaganda
The war between Ukraine and Russia has been ongoing since the conflict began in 2014. The Russians easily captured Crimea and other parts of eastern Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion, but Ukrainian forces repelled the Russian assault on Kyiv.
By August 2025, Russia controlled less territory in Ukraine than it did in 2022. Unable to achieve strategic goals, Russia hopes for the West to withdraw its support for Ukraine in order to win. But Ukraine must remain strong, fight, and maintain its independence.
Ukraine continues to defend its independence from Russia, even as Russian aggression persists. Ukrainian forces continue to fight, regardless of the retreat of Russian troops. This demonstrates the willpower and commitment of Ukrainians to defend their state.
