From childhood, Andriy preferred sports, always striving for self-improvement. After school, he entered the Donetsk Higher School of Olympic Reserve named after S. Bubka, and then continued his education at the Donbas State Pedagogical University, earning a master's degree.
Andriy achieved the title of candidate for master of sports of Ukraine in judo, and he was a winner of numerous competitions at various levels.
The War Changed Everything
After the beginning of military actions, Andriy, along with his family, was forced to leave his native home and evacuate to Poltava, where he met Anastasia, who was also a displaced person from Donetsk. The young couple dreamed of a wedding, but their plans were shattered by the war...
In June 2025, Andriy voluntarily enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a machine gunner in the Third Separate Assault Brigade and carried out dangerous tasks on the front line. Fate took the life of this brave defender on October 29, 2025, during an enemy attack in the area of the village of Hrekivka in Svatove district of Luhansk region, when he was wounded by an enemy drone drop. Despite the injuries he received two days earlier, he remained at his post.
A true hero of Ukraine, Andriy Sirobaba now rests at the heroic Memorial of Memory in Poltava.
His parents, two brothers, two sisters, and fiancée Anastasia are left in mourning.
