Former Ukrainian official found dead in Spain
An Ukrainian named Igor Grushevsky, a former official of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, died under unclear circumstances in the Cala Alta residential complex in Villajoyosa, where Russian pilot Maxim Kuzminov was previously murdered.
According to 'Hvilya', this was reported by El Español citing its own sources.
His body was discovered face down in the complex's pool without signs of life. According to the publication, Igor had been swimming in the pool in the evening of June 29. He was found in the water face down without signs of life. Neighbors attempted to provide first aid, followed by paramedics, but they could not save him.
It is noted that despite the absence of obvious signs of violence on the body, blood was coming from his ear, which raised suspicions among neighbors. They do not rule out sudden cardiac death or a stroke, but they are also considering the version of murder.
Grushevsky was a reserved person who hardly interacted with the other residents of the building, so they knew almost nothing about him. Only after the incident did it become known that he worked in the field of combating organized crime in Ukraine.
Connection to the death of the Russian pilot
Local residents speculate that Grushevsky might have already been retired and chose Spain to live in. Grushevsky's death occurred less than a year and a half after Russian pilot Maxim Kuzminov was killed in the same residential complex. The similar location and circumstances of both deaths raise suspicions about possible involvement of Russian special services in this incident as well.
So far, the official investigation has not presented conclusions regarding the cause of Grushevsky's death. As for the Kuzminov case, it is still under judicial secrecy.
During an evening swim in the pool of a Spanish residential complex, former Ukrainian official Igor Grushevsky died. Although there are no obvious signs of violence on the body, the death of this man raises suspicions among neighbors and the general public about possible criminal activity. A few years ago, another mysterious death happened in the same complex - Russian pilot Maxim Kuzminov. Investigations into both cases are ongoing, but the connection between them has not yet been established.
