In Zhukovsky without electricity and heating: air defense system activated during drone attacks

In Zhukovsky, located in the Moscow region, there were issues with electricity supply and heating. Local residents report that the air defense system was activated, likely due to an attack by Ukrainian drones, reports 'Glavkom'.



At the same time, the city administration stated that the power outage occurred due to an accident in the electrical networks, leaving many houses without electricity.



The Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin reported the 'shooting down of drones heading for Moscow', which has become his daily practice.



According to Ukrainian monitoring groups, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have sent between 350 to 600 strike drones towards the Russian Federation.



Earlier, The Economist reported that Russia's attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure are gaining momentum. The Kremlin is actively using cheap drones and rockets to attack the country's electrical networks in order to damage the system during the winter period.
