Today, September 8, in the Primorsky district of Odesa, the body of a newborn child was found near a dormitory. This was reported by Glavkom, referring to the Main Department of the National Police in Odesa region.
«On September 8, the police received a report from the head of one of the dormitories in the Primorsky district of Odesa about the discovery of an infant without signs of life near the building. A crime scene investigation group from the territorial police department was dispatched to the address provided by the woman,» - the report states.
According to preliminary conclusions by law enforcement, a 39-year-old local resident threw her newborn child out of the window of a high-rise building. She has been detained, and an investigation is underway. Work is ongoing to document the incident and enter information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.
