Ministers change the approach to reserving conscripts

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted revolutionary changes to the conscription reservation system on August 13, radically altering approaches to preserving the workforce in frontline territories. The innovation provides for the possibility of 100% reservation of personnel at critically important enterprises operating in active combat conditions.

The press service of the Ministry of Economy, Ecology and Agriculture of Ukraine announced the strategic significance of this decision for supporting the national economy under martial law.

According to the accepted changes, up to 100% of conscripts have the right to reservation at enterprises that meet two key criteria: official recognition as critically important and actual functioning in areas of possible or active combat. An important feature is the absence of a set date for the end of such reservation.

The ministry emphasized the strategic advantages of the introduced changes, which promote the sustainable functioning of frontline enterprises. This will help preserve jobs and ensure the continuous execution of tasks in the defense and life support sectors of the regions.

During their last meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made significant changes to the reserving system for conscripts, which will support the economy in frontline territories and ensure the direct participation of personnel in critically important enterprises.
