Ukrainians have been informed about how to undergo the military medical commission (VLC) remotely and what is required for this. According to lawyer Roman Lіkhachov, the remote medical commission is available for military personnel and law enforcement officers who have been receiving treatment abroad for more than a year.
The main categories of diseases for which a remote medical commission is possible include oncology-related illnesses, serious injuries, and damage to various organs. This procedure is simplified for severely wounded individuals who are difficult to transport for the commission in Ukraine.
A mechanism for appealing the decisions of the VLC for those dissatisfied with the conclusions is also open. In this process, one can appeal to various instances, starting from the regional commission to court procedures.
The solution to the remote medical commission issue is aimed at speeding up the procedure for individuals undergoing treatment abroad. This helps to avoid unnecessary difficulties and accelerates the resolution of important issues for military personnel and law enforcement officers.
