The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced the start of an experimental project to create volunteer groups for air defense, which will strengthen the protection of the sky over Ukrainian cities and villages. Citizens aged 18 and over who are not subject to conscription are invited to join this initiative to protect their relatives and loved ones.
The Ministry of Defense appeals to Ukrainians regarding a new project that may become an important step in enhancing the country's defense capabilities. Volunteers who join the groups will be able to receive financial rewards of up to 100,000 hryvnias per month, which will be paid depending on the time spent on performing air defense tasks.
Conditions for Participation in the Project
The main criterion for participation is being at least 18 years old and not being of conscription age. In addition to financial incentives, participants will be guaranteed job security in accordance with Ukrainian labor legislation after completing service in the volunteer groups. Before signing a contract, candidates will be required to undergo mandatory medical, professional, and psychological examinations.
The stated project could become an effective mechanism for attracting additional forces and resources to protect the country. Volunteer groups could play an important role in countering any threats arising in the airspace over Ukraine.
