In the eastern and northeastern regions of the country, short-term rains and storms are expected during the day, while in the west, there will also be rains. On the other hand, no precipitation is expected in other areas. The air temperature at night will be 14-19°, in the southern part of the country up to 23°, during the day 24-29°, in the southern part – up to 34°. In the Carpathians, at night the thermometer will show 9-14°, during the day – 18-23°.
Weather conditions and wind
As for the wind, a northern and northwestern direction is expected at a speed of 5-10 m/s, in the Left Bank region it will be slightly stronger: 7-12 m/s.
Frosts have damaged Ukrainian gardeners
It was previously reported that spring frosts caused severe losses to Ukrainian gardeners. As noted by
"Glavkom", citing an interview with the director of 'Green Technology Ltd' Dmitry Ostapenko for the 'EastFruit' project, about 90% of the peach harvest was destroyed due to night frosts from April 7 to 13. This led to significant losses and raised doubts about the profitability of this season. The coldest night saw temperatures in the garden drop to -6.6°, which was fatal for peach flowers during the flowering phase.
Ukrainian gardeners suffered heavy losses due to frosts in the spring when a significant part of the peach harvest was destroyed. This caused serious economic difficulties and threatens the successful completion of the agricultural season.
