Today, August 21, variable cloudiness without precipitation is expected in Ukraine, notes the "Glavkom" citing the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
The weather forecast for today in Ukraine predicts the absence of precipitation almost throughout the entire territory of the country, only in the western and Zhytomyr regions short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible during the day. The wind will be blowing mainly from the west and will have a speed of 5-10 m/s.
In the Kyiv region and in the capital, similar conditions – variable cloudiness, no precipitation. The wind will prevail from the southwest and will reach a speed of 5-10 m/s. The air temperature at night in the region will be 13-18°, during the day – 25-30°; in Kyiv, at night it is expected to be 16-18°, during the day – 27-29°.
In connection with the approaching Day of the State Flag and Independence Day, Kyiv is preparing for celebrations. The city will offer a diverse cultural program from excursions to historic museums to artistic events and concerts to celebrate the country's main holidays together with the guests and residents of the capital.
