At the beginning of autumn, Ukrainians can enjoy an 'Indian summer' that will bring them warm and sunny weather. Meteorologist Natalka Didenko forecasts that from September 20 to 21, the air temperature will rise to +28°C. However, a sharp drop in temperature is expected at the end of the month, which has led to the spread of fake news about snowfalls.
By Friday, September 19, after the rains, the weather in Ukraine will stabilize thanks to the anticyclone 'Oldenburg'. The daytime temperature will fluctuate between +19...+25°C, and only in the western regions will there be slight rain. In Kyiv, good weather is expected without precipitation, with temperatures of +20...+21°C.
Saturday and Sunday promise to be ideal for outdoor recreation: sunny, dry, and warm. On Saturday, the temperature will rise to +20...+24°C, and on Sunday it will get even warmer – +24...+28°C.
However, one should not believe all the news, as long-term forecasts are not always accurate. Natalka Didenko urges Ukrainians to maintain information hygiene, not to believe sensational headlines, and to trust only verified sources of information.
