Ukrainians continue to buy their favorite products - lard and bread, despite rising prices. According to the Minfin portal, in July 2025, the prices for these basic food products continue to fluctuate.

“Ukrainian citizens do not stop buying bread and lard, even with changing prices in the food market. These products remain key on the Ukrainian table, reflecting the cultural traditions and gastronomic preferences of the people.”

Prices for bread can vary; for example, the cost of wheat bread “Tsar Bread” ranges from 42.90 to 46.53 hryvnias for 600 grams. At the same time, the price of lard has increased - homemade lard now averages 252.05 hryvnias per kilogram, which is 8.55 hryvnias more than in June. The price for salted lard has also risen; for example, a kilogram of this product at Auchan now costs 264.80 hryvnias, which is 15.08 hryvnias more than last month.

Thus, despite price fluctuations in the market, Ukrainians continue to enjoy their favorite products - lard and bread, which remain an important part of the nation's cultural heritage.
