The government has decided to automate the process of issuing summons. Now not only the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC) can print documents but also the Ministry of Defense, regional TRCs, and state printing enterprises of strategic importance. Information exchange between different state registries has also been provided for, using the electronic registries of the Armed Forces.

'To be frank, I have a question about where the TRC gets money for such orders... I’ve already written about the interaction of registries, meaning that the Armed Forces registry will now be able to see all relevant information about those liable for military service from various registries for automatic generation of summons. I understand it like this. For example, the Ministry of Defense compiles a list of summons from the registry and, having a contract with Ukrposhta, sends them out...'

Now 'Ukrposhta' or another postal operator will send summons as registered letters, instead of being delivered personally by TRC representatives. The new procedure provides a clear legislative mechanism to avoid evading receipt of documents through the postal service.

Updates to the summons issuance system will optimize the process and make it more efficient. Now, those liable for military service will be able to receive documents faster and more reliably, thanks to new technologies and automation.
