According to financial reports for 2025, there are 2,997 major companies in Ukraine with foreign ownership, each generating annual revenues exceeding 100 million UAH. Geographically, the capital city of Kyiv hosts the largest concentration, with 1,478 such companies registered. The Lviv and Kyiv regions follow, each with 223 registered businesses. In contrast, the Kherson and Donetsk regions have the fewest businesses with foreign capital, a reflection of the severe impact of the war in those areas.

Wholesale trade is the most common activity, with 774 companies, followed by the agricultural sector with 268 firms, and the IT sphere with 176 companies. The aggregate revenue of the retail companies ranked among Ukraine's top enterprises for 2026 reached 647.33 billion UAH. The leader of this 2026 ranking of Ukraine's best enterprises is the ATB-Market retail chain.
