ARMA has discovered and located assets related to the corruption scheme

The National Agency for the Detection and Management of Assets has discovered and located assets related to a large-scale corruption scheme organized by officials of government administrations in collaboration with representatives of commercial companies.

According to the investigation, the perpetrators, by abusing their official position and in collusion with representatives of contracting companies, organized the embezzlement of budget funds during government procurement. For example, employees of the Department of Digital Development discovered such assets belonging to the participants of the scheme: non-residential real estate, vehicles, and over 1 billion UAH in the accounts of companies involved in criminal activities.

The information about the identified assets has been transferred to the relevant law enforcement agency for measures to impose an arrest and subsequent procedural support.

'Such results confirm that ARMA has the necessary tools and professional personnel potential to identify complex schemes for the embezzlement of public funds. The National Agency systematically works to ensure that the money meant to serve society does not end up in the pockets of corrupt officials but works for the State,' noted Deputy Head of ARMA Pavel Velikorechanin.
