The government of Ukraine has decided to help businesses by freeing them from the mandatory use of seals. Now, the parliament must approve this decision, and then entrepreneurs will be able to use seals only at their own discretion. This initiative is part of the deregulation process that has been ongoing for more than ten years.

'We protect the legitimate interests of businesses and do everything to make the state a partner and reliable support for them. Today, we proposed to remove outdated requirements for the mandatory use of seals in two more laws. If the parliament supports this decision, entrepreneurs will no longer be required to use seals—only at their own discretion. This next stage of deregulation will conclude a reform that has lasted more than 10 years. No unnecessary costs and double interpretation—everything should be simple and convenient for business,' emphasizes the Minister of Economy, Ecology, and Agriculture of Ukraine Alexey Sobolev.

The changes will affect laws such as 'On Employers' Organizations, Their Associations, Rights and Guarantees of Their Activities' and 'On Capital Markets and Organized Commodity Markets.' If everything goes smoothly, seals will no longer be a mandatory element in the entrepreneurial life of Ukraine.

Deputies have developed a draft law that will release businesses from the mandatory use of seals, giving entrepreneurs freedom in this matter. The government believes that this will ease the conditions for entrepreneurship and help entrepreneurs avoid unnecessary costs.
