Inaugural Ukrainian Padel Expo Conference Marks a New Era
On September 6, 2023, Kyiv’s UNIT.City innovation park hosted the first-ever nationwide Ukrainian Padel Expo conference, drawing nearly 750 attendees. The event featured the official announcement of the Ukrainian Club Padel League, a key initiative within the country’s strategic plan to develop the sport of padel through 2030. The conference was organized by the Ukrainian Padel Federation, Sport Business Media Agency, and UNIT.City.
During the conference, club representatives signed a declaration establishing the new league and unveiled the championship trophy for its inaugural winner. Padel, a fast-growing sport that blends elements of tennis and squash, is typically played in doubles on courts enclosed by glass walls, allowing players to bounce the ball off them.
