The State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine announced this initiative, highlighting its potential to deepen engagement with Ukrainian heritage.

The immersive tour centers around the epic themes of the fantasy novel 'Hort,' allowing participants to actively interact with history rather than passively observe it. Taras Lozynskyi, First Deputy Head of the State Agency for Tourism Development, took part in testing the tour. He emphasized that
“exploring our history and uniqueness through modern methods gains a fresh resonance”and described the experience as
“a fundamentally different way to travel,”where visitors don’t just hear stories—they live them and create personal memories.
The route includes several culturally and historically significant sites such as:
- the submerged village of Husyntsi
- the Transfiguration Church (Spaso-Preobrazhenska)
- the home of the novel’s heroine, Solomiya
- Lysa Hora (Bald Mountain)
