Official digital communication channel with the Military Ombudsman
A official digital communication channel with the Military Ombudsman has been launched in Ukraine, designed for service members and their families to file complaints. This step aims to ensure more effective communication and facilitate the resolution of issues faced by military personnel and their relatives.
The Military Ombudsman Olga Reshetilova was appointed to the position in October 2025. For user convenience, the Office of the Military Ombudsman has established a procedure for submitting requests via the email address skarha@milomb.gov.ua. This will provide a quick and convenient way to contact the Ombudsman on various issues and problems.
Ways to contact the Ombudsman
In addition to the email address, a special hotline with a short number has also been introduced, as well as the possibility to contact through popular messengers. Furthermore, users have access to the mobile application 'Army+', which simplifies the process of submitting complaints and requests.
It is important to note that annually, by March 30, the Military Ombudsman will publish a report on its activities, allowing the public to familiarize themselves with the results of the work and measures taken to improve the service conditions of military personnel. This new communication channel is an important step in ensuring the rights and interests of military personnel in Ukraine.
The introduction of a digital communication channel with the Military Ombudsman can significantly improve the situation with communication between service members and their families and government authorities. This can also contribute to greater transparency in the system of protecting the rights of military personnel, and regular reports from the Ombudsman will allow society to monitor the fulfillment of its duties and assess the effectiveness of the work. In the context of the conflict in Ukraine, such a step is crucial for supporting the morale of military personnel and ensuring their rights.
