The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada has extended martial law and general mobilization for 90 days from November 5, 2025, to February 3, 2026. The state is introducing new rules for obtaining deferments from conscription and digitizing military records.
Now, starting from November 1, 2025, all changes to obtaining deferments are already in effect. They can now be processed both online, through the 'Reserve+' application, and offline at the CNAP. If you have a special status, the deferment will be automatically extended without the need to submit an application.
Please note that basic military service has already started from September 1, 2025, and applies to all men aged 18 to 25 years. This period lasts for 90 days and provides you with a military specialty upon completion.
