Cyclone Karlheinz is approaching Ukraine


A cyclone named Karlheinz, with its center over Poland, is moving towards Ukraine. This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko.


According to her, on Monday, July 27, cyclone Karlheinz will affect the weather in the western part of Ukraine, bringing rain with thunderstorms, heavy showers, squalls, and even hail.

Unstable rainy weather is expected to also reach Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Cherkasy, and partly Chernihiv regions. The rest of Ukraine will remain dry.



Weather by temperature


Air temperatures will remain very high in southern Ukraine and in Dnipropetrovsk region, reaching +32...+39 degrees. In the western regions and in the north, a comfortable temperature of +23...+29 degrees is expected, while in the central regions, heat up to +35 degrees will occur. In Dnipropetrovsk region, temperatures may reach +37 degrees.


In the eastern regions, daytime temperatures will fluctuate from +30 to +33 degrees. Rain and thunderstorms are also predicted in Kyiv, with air temperatures of +25...+28 degrees.



Keep in mind that Tuesday will be extremely hot in Kyiv, up to +34 degrees, and there will be high humidity, which will complicate life for people with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. Be careful and protect yourself and your loved ones.

We remind you that the heat will persist in southern Ukraine, and its weakening is expected on July 31.



The approach of cyclone Karlheinz to Ukraine will bring rain with thunderstorms and heavy showers to the western part of the country, as well as heat and high humidity, particularly in Kyiv. Next week, a weakening of the heat in southern Ukraine can be expected.
