The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, together with the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, demonstrated their activity by filing a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court regarding the assets of the head of the State Customs Service. These assets, totaling over UAH 3.2 million, are considered unlawful according to the collected evidence.

According to the investigation, the official and his family used a residential house and a land plot near Kyiv, although officially they were in the name of a close relative of the wife. A decision to seize these assets has already been made, and the further fate of this case will depend on the court's decision.

The acting head of the State Customs Service has also been in the spotlight of law enforcement due to suspicions of failing to declare property, in particular, a house and a land plot. According to the investigation, these assets worth over $100,000 were reflected in the declaration of the official's wife's father, although they actually belong to him and his family. The case remains in process, but it is already evident that the prosecutor's office will not overlook any instances that may contain signs of corruption.
