"I am by no means a fan of the TCC. I will share many critical opinions regarding their work. Moreover, I believe that the reform of the TCC is vitally important today. But when some citizens engage in physical confrontations with TCC workers, that is wrong," wrote Vereshchuk.
"Here, I defend not the TCC as such, but the law and order in wartime. Remember: many TCC workers were soldiers of the Armed Forces at the front yesterday, for whom we pray. And if tomorrow a fighter goes to work at the TCC after being wounded, will he immediately lose our respect? Does it no longer matter that he fought? Is that how it turns out?
The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk, expressed her position regarding the work of territorial centers for recruitment and social support and conflicts with their workers. According to her, she is not a supporter of the TCC and supports critical opinions about their activities. However, she emphasized that physical clashes with TCC workers are unacceptable.
According to the Deputy Head of the President's Office, conflicts with the TCC are not a place for showing courage or the right to protest. She emphasized that the TCC is an important part of the country's defense capability.
Vereshchuk also noted that everyone has the right to their opinion regarding mobilization and the work of the TCC, but manifestations of aggression towards TCC workers are unacceptable.
We remind you that in the village of Solovichi, Kovel district, on August 7, clashes occurred between a group of people and TCC workers during the notification of those liable for military service.
In her statement, Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized her negative opinion regarding the work of the territorial centers for recruitment and social support, but at the same time emphasized the unacceptability of physical clashes with TCC workers. She noted that conflicts should not be resolved through manifestations of aggression, as TCC workers are an important part of the country's defense system and deserve respect for their work. This important issue needs to be addressed through peaceful dialogue, observing law and order.
