Legislative activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 2025
In 2025, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted nearly 2000 new laws, of which only 22% came into effect. During the year, 1866 legislative initiatives were registered, of which 1581 were submitted by people's deputies, 245 by the Cabinet of Ministers, and 40 by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
People's Deputy Georgiy Mazurashu from the Servant of the People party became the most active legislative initiator, having submitted over 1000 initiatives, of which 155 were presented in 2025.
